Against the backdrop of increasingly bold reports about the possibility of organizing a fight for the IBF world title in the first heavyweight division between by Richard Riakpo (16-0, 12 KOs) and Mateusz Masternak (47-5, 31 KOs) reigning champion of the International Boxing Federation Jai Opetaya (22-0, 17 KOs) tries to remind himself in social networks.

“If you need a belt, come to Australia and get it! I don't avoid absolutely anyone! And neither surgery nor injury will stop me, it's just a matter of time. I am the king of this category!” — wrote the undefeated Australian on Twitter.

Speculation about the possible deprivation of Opetai of the championship trophy appeared when it turned out that the Australian's health condition did not allow him to hold a mandatory defense with Mateusz Masternak in the near future. So far, the leadership of the International Boxing Federation has not taken any official position on this matter.
