Jermaine Franklin (21-1, 14 KOs), who on April 1 will face Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) in London casts doubt on the opponent's sporting achievements.

“I don’t want to say that he was running away from Wilder, but it’s strange how that situation with Wilder turned out when he also didn’t fight Fury,” the American said. “I know how it works in boxing: either you just avoid someone, or your team advises you not to fight.”

According to Franklin, even a victory over Wladimir Klitschko cannot be a special reason for the British to be proud: “He just defeated the elderly Klitschko,” Franklin believes.

For Anthony Joshua, the confrontation with Jermain Franklin, who has lost only to Dillian Whyte so far, will be a return to the ring after the second loss to Oleksandr Usyk.
