Derrick James appreciates the collaboration with Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs), his skills and his work ethic. The former two-time world heavyweight champion traveled around American gyms for a long time, looking for the best solution for himself, and in the end chose coach Errol Spence and Jermell Charlo. The Englishman is already in Texas, where he will prepare for the battle with Jermain Franklin (21-1, 14 KOs) April 1 in London.

The Ring magazine's 2017 Coach of the Year is known for his fighters who box aggressively and always strive to win early. And it was precisely in the absence of this aggression that AJ was accused after two defeats on points from Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs).

“This guy suits me. I was impressed with his talent as well as his work ethic. He does not want to stop, and in my experience most of these giants are simply lazy. He loves to learn, I love his work ethic. Together we will return to the winning path,” said James.
