Renowned British coach Shane McGuigan claims that Chris Eubank Jr. (32-3, 23 KOs) should part ways with Roy Jones if he is still thinking about returning to big boxing.

“This is not the same Chris Eubank who fought George Groves or other boxers. He needs to recover, have a good rest and, above all, get away from Roy Jones Jr. Roy is one of my favorite boxers, but Eubank needs a certain amount of authority and toughness in punching and defense,” McGuigan said.

“When he boxed Gary O’Sullivan or Nick Blackwell, he threw punches in combinations, he hit on target. He did not slow down the strength of his blows, he acted carefully on the waste. He was very technical and tough. Chris needs to get back to it,” McGuigan said.
