Franklin: "April 1 will give the British April Fool's Day"

Jermaine Franklin (21-1, 14 KOs) promises that April 1 will give the British a real April Fool's Day: win Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs), and then meet with Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs).

Franklin and Fury sparred in early November as they had separate fights during the week. The WBC champion then praised the American, who, according to some, undeservedly lost to Dillian Whyte. He is now scheduled to face Joshua on April 1st, although the fight has yet to be officially confirmed.

“I liked Franklin in the hall. He trained with me at Morecambe for a month leading up to the White fight and performed well,” praise your assistant Fury.

“On April 1, everyone will see my best version. I will shock the world and someday I will meet Fury, ”Franklin said.
