Coach Ghana: Cyril will be the face of MMA if Jones wins

Former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Mentor Cyril Ghana talked about the importance of the upcoming fight of his ward against the ex-title holder in the light heavyweight division John Jones.

“Cyril will fight one of the greatest fighters in history. Plus, there will be a championship belt at stake. I, as his coach, am very pleased with the development of events. He has the opportunity to become a champion, and I am proud of him. Cyril is a skilled guy. If he wins, he will become the face of MMA,” Lopez said in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Recall that Jones and Gun will fight for the vacant heavyweight title at UFC 285, which will be held on March 4 in Las Vegas.
