The current world heavyweight champion Alexander Usik will restore the house in Irpin, where boxer and trainer Alexei Dzhunkovsky was shot by Russian invaders. According to Alexander, he did not know that this is the gym where Alexei was killed.
“I accidentally chose this house. When we arrived and saw how this house was destroyed, I was a little surprised. In this house there was a boxing gym of my good friend. He and I were in the national team, we went to boxing competitions together. Aleksey Dzhunkovsky was shot by Russian soldiers right in this hall,” Alexander said.
Recall that Dzhunkovsky was shot by Russian invaders right in his gym in March last year. Alexei refused to cooperate with the Russians.
