Pascal-Eifert rescheduled for March 16 in Canada

On March 16, Canada will host the final eliminator for the IBF light heavyweight title between Jean Pascal (36-6-1, 20 KOs) and Michael Eifert (11-1, 4 KOs).

The fight was previously scheduled for February 9, but the date was postponed due to the Canadian's health problems. Pascal beat Fanlong Meng on points in his last fight, while Eifert beat Adriano Sperandio.

The winner of the match will become the official contender according to the International Boxing Federation in the category up to 79 kilograms. IBF world light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev will fight Anthony Yarde in London today.
