Poirier commented on the ban on betting for MMA fighters

Former Interim UFC Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier spoke about the decision of the promotion management to ban fighters from betting.

“I am very glad that this happened, because I used to bet quite often myself. I would lose a lot of money if I continued to do this. I would bet on Petr Yan against Sean O'Malley, and I would also load money on the victory of Mateusz Gamroth over Beneil Dariush. So the ban saved me all that money.

I can't say exactly what I think about all this. I don't know the details. I know that there are some suspicious things, and maybe after a while we will get some clarity about everything that is happening, ”Poirier is quoted by Bloody Elbow.
