Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) in the first quarter of next year should meet in a duel for the title of absolute heavyweight champion. Centimeters and kilograms will be on the side of the Englishman, but the Ukrainian has already proved that he can cope with larger and physically stronger opponents.
“Usyk is a really good boxer, I have watched him for many years. He is an excellent boxer, he can do a lot, but Fury is in no way inferior to him in all these parameters. Plus he will be his kilograms and centimeters. It will be a very difficult fight for Usyk,” said Saul Alvarez, unified super middleweight champion.
Fury sits on the WBC throne. Usyk owns the IBF, WBA and WBO belts.
