Legendary Evander Holyfield is a fan of talent Andy Ruiz (35-2, 22 KOs), and believes that the first ever world heavyweight champion from Mexico is capable of defeating Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs).
“I once sparred with Ruiz when he was still very young. After that, I told the people in my team that this boy at first glance looks like he does not know how to do anything serious, but he will achieve a lot. He had very fast hands and very good defense. After what I saw then, I believe that he can beat Tyson Fury, ”said the only four-time world heavyweight champion in history.
Fury currently sits on the WBC throne. Earlier, the World Boxing Council appointed the final eliminator between Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) and Ruiz.
