Braekhus will return this coming Saturday

Former undisputed world welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus (36-2, 9 KOs) will fight his next professional fight on December 17 at a Golden Boy Promotions event in Commerce, California.

The Norwegian will face Marisa Joana Portillo (19-15-3, 4 KOs). In the past, the Argentinean fought for championship belts several times in lighter weight categories. For Breckhus, this will be a return to the ring after two consecutive losses to Jessica McCaskill.

The main event of the California evening will be the duel between Raul Curiel (11-0, 9 KOs) and Brad Solomon (29-5, 9 KOs) for the North American welterweight championship belt.
