Matteo Signani (32-6-3, 12 KOs) defeated Anderson Presto (25-3, 15 KOs) by TKO in the seventh round of the main event of the evening organized in Savignano sul Rubicon and regained the European middleweight title.

The fight became a rematch of their June fight, which ended with the victory of the Frenchman by a technical decision of the judges. However, no doping tests were conducted after the fight, which led to the European Boxing Union ordering a mandatory rematch.

The fight started better for the Frenchman, who in the third round sent the opponent to the floor, but in the seventh round he himself was counted out for a knockdown after a missed left hook. The referee did not allow Presto to continue, and the Italian won the EBU belt for the second time in his career.
