Dominant UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya stated that he plans to make another sortie in the light heavyweight division in the future.

In March last year, the Nigerian moved up to this weight for the fight with the then champion Jan Blachowicz, but was defeated by unanimous decision.

“I will do one more lap at middleweight and then move up to the light heavyweight division at some point. My words may sound selfish, but I believe that I can do it. I can do it not even because of the title. Now the belt in this weight is held by another guy, Jiri Prochazka, so let him mind his own business. I just like to test myself.

Again, there is also a heavy division. I’m not saying that I can beat any fighter in weight up to 205 pounds, but everyone will have problems with me, ”MMA Junkie quotes Nigerian.

On the night of November 13 at UFC 281 in New York, USA, Adesanya will defend his title against Alex Pereira.
