Hunter is a free agent again

Michael Hunter (20-1-2, 14 KOs) terminated the contract with the promotional organization BOXXER. The 34-year-old boxer signed a contract with this group in the spring, but this year the American did not fight a single fight and became a free agent.

In recent months, Hunter has been linked primarily with a meeting with Hughie Fury. The fight was supposed to become a WBA heavyweight eliminator, but due to the Brit's poor health, the fight was postponed several times.

The last time Hunter fought was in December last year, when he drew a fight with Jerry Forrest. When the American boxer will return to the ring is still unknown.
