It looks like the former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) will return to the ring no earlier than the first quarter of next year. The return of AJ after the defeat in the August rematch with Oleksandr Usyk was supposed to take place in December. However, stormy negotiations with Tyson Fury failed first, and thus the date of December 3rd was ruled out, and then the fight plan with Otto Wallin or Chris Arreola for December 17th failed.
According to preliminary information, Joshua will now return in February or early March next year. With whom he will cross gloves is still difficult to say, perhaps the above candidates, Arreola and Wallin, are still in the game.
If AJ gets back on the winning track, next summer fans will be able to see his rematch against Dillian Whyte, whom Joshua defeated in 2015.
On November 26, White, who is returning from an April loss to Tyson Fury, is scheduled to face Jermain Franklin, though the bout has yet to be officially confirmed.
