The British Boxing Council has officially announced that, in cooperation with the official UK Anti-Doping Agency (UKAD), it has launched an investigation into a positive doping test. Conor Benna (21-0, 14 KOs). The violator faces a two-year disqualification.

In a test conducted by VADA last month, Benn was found to have the banned clomiphene in his body. His scheduled fight against Chris Eubank Jr. in the contract limit of 157 pounds, scheduled for October 8, was canceled at the last minute.

The British Council does not recognize the VADA tests and relies on the UKAD tests, however, they have imposed a ban on the fight between Benn and Eubank Jr. The investigation into this incident will last at least a few weeks.
