Sterling: Makhachev's team wants to break Oliveira before the fight

UFC Bantamweight Champion Aljamain Sterling expressed the opinion that the Islam Makhachev trying to exert psychological pressure on Charles Oliveiro before their fight for the vacant lightweight title.

“Makhachev’s team is trying to “unwind” Oliver, and rightly so. They do it to get inside Charles's head. Perhaps they believe that they can break it and then the old Oliveira will return, who could surrender in battle. But I think that Oliveira is now in a completely different mood, ”Sterling told the YouTube channel LowKick MMA.

The fight between Oliveira and Makhachev will headline the UFC 280 tournament, which will be held on October 22 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
