Beterbiev Yard January 28 in the UK

At the end of October Anthony Yard (22-2, 21 KOs) was supposed to fight the IBF, WBC and WBO light heavyweight champion, but in mid-August Arthur Beterbiev (18-0, 18 KOs) reported an injury. The new date was proposed by British promoter Frank Warren.

Warren works very closely with Bob Arum, the Russian's promoter. Therefore, the fight should take place in Great Britain. However, before that, Yard will have to hold an interim fight on November 19 in Telford, because he has not boxed this year yet.

The head of Queensberry Promotions said that the new date for the fight of the Russian against the British is January 28. For Beterbiev, it will also be a mandatory defense of his World Boxing Organization title.
