Vinnichanin Bogachuk currently lives in Los Angeles and will return to the ring after more than a year of inactivity. When the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in February, Bogachuk returned home and signed up as a volunteer. His brother continues to serve in the Ukrainian army, while Bogachuk, like world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and former world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenko, received permission from the government to represent his country and continue his boxing career in the United States.
The last time the 27-year-old Bogachuk fought was on September 16, when he defeated Rafael Igbouke ahead of schedule, who did not come out of the corner after the sixth round. The fight against Igbouke came two months after Bogachuk knocked out Brandon Bowe in the first round.
The only downside to Bogachuk's track record is a knockout loss to Brandon Adams in March last year.
Kolya lost by split decision to Jamontay Clark in his last fight in April of this year. Kohli has lost three of his last four fights, but all three of his losses were decisions in very close fights.
