Nico Ali Walsh (6-0, 5 KOs), middleweight grandson of Muhammad Ali, learned the details of his next fight. Like his great-grandfather, Niko also works with promoter Bob Arum. His next fight will take place on October 29 at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York at the Top Rank Boxing Night.

The main event of the evening will be a duel Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs) with Jamaine Ortiz (16-0-1, 8 KOs). Also broadcast on ESPN+ will be a featherweight bout between two-time Olympic champion Robeisi Ramirez (10-1, 6 KOs) and Jesse Magdaleno (29-1, 18 KOs). Fans will also be able to see Olympic heavyweight vice-champion Richard Torres Jr. (3-0, 3 KOs).

Ali Walsh will fight for the first time in a 6-round fight. His opponent will be Billy Wagner (5-2, 1 KO).

“I am very happy to be back in the game on another important map. Lomachenko is one of the greatest men of our era,” said Ali Walsh.

“My first year as a professional was a great learning experience and I have a great team to help me get to the next level. I respect Billy Wagner and am ready to showcase everything I learned in the gym from my incredible trainer Kay Koroma,” added Ali Walsh.
