Gan will return to the octagon next year

Former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Cyril Gun said that his return to the octagon would take place no earlier than the beginning of next year.

Last week, the Frenchman underwent surgery on his hand, which was broken in a duel with Tem Tuivasa.

“I will be out of work for several months. I need to heal the arm that I broke in the fight with Tai Tuivasa. I am using this time to heal some of my other injuries and in 2023 I will be back stronger than ever. I'll be back for the belt, don't lose me," Gan wrote on social media.

Recall that the fight between Gan and Tuivasa took place on September 3 at UFC Fight Night 209 in Paris and ended with the victory of the Frenchman by knockout in the third round.
