Hearn: "We are waiting for the contract and put the signature"

Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua

Eddie Hearn confirmed that Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) agreed to all the conditions set by Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 23 KOs) and is waiting for a contract to fight. The fight for the WBC world heavyweight title is scheduled for December 3 at the stadium in Cardiff.

“I see no reason why the fight should not take place. We have accepted all the conditions, we have full agreement on financial issues and terms. Of course, we have yet to agree on the terms of the broadcast, but all partners want to participate in this event, and it will be available in many places, ”said the British promoter.

“This is the second time we have accepted the terms of the fight with Fury. Previously, the fight did not take place, as Fury was to fight Wilder for the third time. This time we won't have any surprises. We are waiting for the contract, this week we should get it, ”added the head of Matchroom Boxing.

The distribution of profits from the fight was set at 60 to 40 in favor of Fury. If Joshua wins, Fury will have the option to activate the rematch clause. In the second duel, the distribution of profits will be equal.
