Joshua ranked sixth in the WBC rankings

Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) finished sixth in the September WBC heavyweight rankings. Thus, the Briton received the rights of a contender for the title of world champion according to the World Boxing Council.

The champion title of this organization belongs to Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs). In early September, negotiations began on organizing a fight between these boxers, which was supposed to take place in early December in the UK.

The leader of the WBC heavyweight rankings is Deontay Wilder, who will return to the ring on October 15 against Robert Helenius. Second in the ranking is Andy Ruiz Jr.
