Manager Adesanya: "Israel wants to go back to the flyweight division.

UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya' s manager Tim Simpson said his client wants to try out for the bantamweight division again.

"Israel said he wants to go back to the welterweight division. He lost there last time, but I think he would feel comfortable if he decided to go back there. As for the athletic side, it's all up to him and his trainer Eugene Beirman," MMA Junkie quoted the specialist as saying.

Recall that Adesanya made a foray into featherweight in March 2021, but lost by unanimous decision to then champion Jan Blachowicz.
