Dubois and King settle their dispute

Daniel Dubois (23-0, 16 KOs) made a deal with Don King and is about to receive full payment for the June fight against Trevor Bryan (22-1, 15 KOs). Recently, the Briton sued the legendary promoter who did not pay him money for the duel with the American.

King won the bid to host the fight, offering $3.11 million. 45% of this amount was supposed to go to the Dubois team, but the American promoter did not pay the Briton the money due to him under the rules of the World Boxing Association.

The regular WBA heavyweight belt was at stake in the duel between Dubois and Bryan. The next fight of the 24-year-old Briton is scheduled for the end of autumn.
