Lomachenko: "This is a big victory for our country"

Former world champion in three weight classes Vasily Lomachenko commented on the victory of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion of his godfather Oleksandr Usyk over ex-world champion Anthony Joshua on August 20 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

"I have one question. What is this score - 115-113 for Joshua? I don't understand this judge. It was a very good fight. They both showed their big hearts, the hearts of warriors. Great fight. For Ukrainians, this means a lot. This is a great victory for our country! I want to see Usyk with the WBC belt. It doesn't matter if this fight with Fury is going to happen or not."

The score was 115-113 in favor of Joshua by American referee Glenn Feldman. Two other sides preferred Usyk - Briton Steve Gray (115-113) and Ukrainian Viktor Fesechko (116-112).
