Usyk and Joshua weigh in

IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) and former holder of these titles Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) passed the official weigh-in procedure. The weight of the Ukrainian was 100.5 kg, the British - 110.9 kg. Thus, Usyk showed almost identical weight, as before the first fight (100.4 kg), while Joshua “gained a couple of kilograms” (108.9 before the first fight).

Interestingly, before the rematch, many noted Usyk's great athleticism, judging by his photographs from the training camp, and assumed that the Ukrainian would weigh more than before the first fight.

The rematch between Usyk and Joshua will take place on the night from Saturday to Sunday, from August 20 to 21, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The approximate time for Usyk and Joshua to enter the ring is 01:00 Kyiv time. The rematch will be broadcast in Ukraine in a free broadcast. You can watch it on the Usyk17 YouTube channel, on the regional channels of the Public and on the MEGOGO media service. The broadcast should also include undercard fights and a studio that will precede the boxing evening in Saudi Arabia.
