Alexander Krasyuk claims that the weight Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) in a rematch against Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) will not differ significantly from the first fight. The promoter of the Ukrainian said that the current WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion did not plan to gain weight before the second fight with the British.

“If Usyk looks bigger and heavier, then this is simply the result of his hard training. He did not deliberately gain weight and was not going to fight in the ring with Joshua. This is not his style,” Krasyuk said.

“I think his weight will not be much different from what we saw in September last year. Many advise the Englishman to be aggressive and brutal in the ring. This is not the best tactic against a technical boxer. However, sometimes when you are fighting a tank, you feel uncomfortable. That's why Usyk trained so hard to avoid this feeling, ”added the promoter of the undefeated boxer.

Usyk and Joshua will face each other at the official weigh-in ceremony on Friday. Before last year's fight, the day before entering the ring, the Englishman weighed 8 kg heavier than the Ukrainian.
