UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya commented on the announcement of the duel with Alex Pereira. Their meeting will headline the UFC 281 show, which will be held on November 13 in New York (USA).
“I have always picked fighters that no one wants to fight. I'm heading towards the danger that everyone is running from.
After he beat me up in Brazil, I never had plans for revenge or anything like that because I don't cling to things, I let them go. But then again, the Universe gave me this opportunity. It's the perfect chance and I'm going to slap that bitch.
I am very glad that someone has appeared who is going to finish me off. He used to do it in kickboxing. So for me it looks like this: either he will be knocked out, or I will. That's why you have to keep a close eye on the battle and find out the outcome," Adesanya said in an interview with ESPN.
Recall that Pereira inflicted two defeats on Adesanya in kickboxing. In April 2016, the Brazilian won by unanimous decision, and a year later by knockout.
