Lomachenko-Stevenson next year?

Bob Arum has confirmed that the former world champion in three weight divisions Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs) will return to the ring in October in the USA. His opponent has not yet been officially confirmed.

Next year, the Ukrainian, according to Arum's plans, must cross gloves with Shakur Stevenson (18-0, 9 KOs), who has already won the featherweight and super featherweight championship belts. In September, the American will hold his next professional fight.

Lomachenko last fought in December, winning unanimously on points against Richard Commey. In the spring, the Ukrainian boxer refused to fight George Kambosos, as he decided that he would remain in his homeland and participate in the defense of the country from the Russian invasion as part of the territorial defense forces.
