Another sparring partner named Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs), who is preparing to defend the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight belts and rematch with Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs).
Martin Bakole (18-1, 13 KOs) has already appeared in the camp of the Ukrainian, just like before their first match. Now the world champion will also stand in pairs with Nursultan Amanzholov (4-0, 3 KOs), known for his performances in the WSB league. The Kazakh is slightly shorter than Joshua (189 cm), but the arm span, weight and fighting style are largely the same. Interestingly, he also helped Usyk in preparation for the first fight.
“Usyk looks intimidating, sparring very fiercely. My boxer confessed to me that during one of the sparring sessions, the champion entered into an open war with him in the ring. He has already sent several sparring partners home from the camp in Dubai. Nursultan says Usyk is in great shape. According to him, Joshua will be in big trouble,” said Aamir Ali, Amanzholov’s manager.
Joshua's rematch with Usyk is scheduled for August 20 in Saudi Arabia. Since the announcement of the date of the fight, the Ukrainian has been preparing for it at the training camp in Dubai. This time, the money from profits will be shared equally, so that in one evening a Ukrainian will probably earn more than in his entire professional career.
