John Fury, father and first coach Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs), believes in the return of his son to the ring if Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) to win Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) in a rematch scheduled for August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

If AJ defeats the Ukrainian in a second fight and regains the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight belts, his eventual unification with Tyson, the WBC champion, will be the biggest event in British boxing history and one of the biggest in boxing history. In sports terms, Usyk does not differ from Joshua, even surpasses him, but he does not have such fame and recognition as AJ. However, there are those who believe that Fury does not like to fight smaller but more mobile boxers, and therefore would prefer to fight Joshua.

"Never say never. My son is now realizing himself as a husband and father, but after a while he will want something else. It also all depends on what happens in Joshua's rematch with Usyk. If Joshua wins, I think Tyson will come back. True, I hear from him every day that he has finished his career, but no one knows him as well as I do. Tomorrow he may wake up and decide that he is coming back. It will be the same Tyson. It will not be easy for Joshua to deal with Usyk, but if he does, my son will not give up such a fight and will return, ”John Fury is sure.
