Shakur Stevenson is moving to lightweight

Shakur Stevenson (18-0, 9 KOs) was already the WBO featherweight champion, he currently sits on the WBC and WBO featherweight thrones, but is about to try his hand at lightweight.

The 61.2 kg weight division is rife with stars, and Shakur could be one of them. In the meantime, on September 23, he will meet with Robson Conceicao (17-1, 8 KOs), Olympic champion in Rio de Janeiro 2016.

“Honestly, I'm going to lightweight soon. And if Devin Haney stays in this limit, I will be happy to fight him. I do not avoid anyone, and I can handle anyone in the category that I am going to be in, ”Stevenson said.
