Burns weighs Diaz's chances against Chimaev

Former UFC welterweight title contender Gilbert Burns shared his thoughts on a potential fight between Nate Diaz and Khamzat Chimaev.

“Chimaev defeated a fighter from the top 2 and climbed to the third line. And now he will fight Nate, who has not won in so many years? This meeting does not make any sense in terms of ratings. But for me, as a fan of this sport, it would certainly be interesting to see it.

I don't think Diaz has a chance in this fight. I can't imagine how he can win. It doesn't make any sense, but I fucking love watching Nate fight," Burns said in an interview with MMA Junkie.

Recall that earlier the head of the UFC Dana White said that at the moment he has no opponent for Chimaev.
