Cuban heavyweight Frank Sanchez (20-0, 13 KOs) is in the WBC and WBO rankings right after Joe Joyce (14-0, 13 KOs) and after his recent fight, he declares his desire to cross gloves with an undefeated opponent from Great Britain.
“Joyce and I will 100 percent meet one day, I have no doubt about it,” the Cuban said in an interview with Sky Sports. “The only question is whether it will happen this year or next.”
“My fight with him will be similar to the fight with Ajagba. He is very big and strong, but for me he is too slow, even slower than Ajagba. It won't be a problem for me," says Sanchez, who is preparing to speak at the August PBC night.
Both Joyce and Sanchez have faced Christian Hammer in their previous fights. The Briton defeated the Romanian by technical knockout in the fourth round, and the Cuban by points.
