Joyce stopped Hammer in the fourth round

Undefeated British heavyweight Joe Joyce (14-0, 14 KOs) returned after a year-long break and scored an early victory in the fourth round over an experienced veteran Christian Hammer (27-10, 17 KOs) in the main event of the evening at the OVO arena in London.

Hammer knelt at the end of the third round and three times in the fourth round until the referee decided to stop the fight at 1:20. Thus, Joyce successfully defended the WBC silver and WBO international belts.
