Usyk-Joshua rematch will not necessarily take place on DAZN

Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) recently signed a long-term contract with DAZN as its shareholder and ambassador. As it turned out, at the moment there is no final certainty that DAZN will broadcast AJ's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) in August.

Eddie Hearn told IFL TV that Joshua's UK contract with DAZN does not include an upcoming fight that is owned by the Saudis worldwide and negotiations are underway with various broadcasters. “Whoever contributes the most money will get the duel,” Hearn said.

So far, fans from the UK have watched all of Joshua's performances in the ring on Sky Sports. Fans in other countries could watch AJ's performances on the DAZN platform.
