Garcia Fortuna July 16 in Los Angeles

Ryan Garcia (22-0, 18 KOs) and Javier Fortuna (37-3-1, 26 KOs) agreed on the terms of the fight, which will take place on July 16 at a boxing evening in Los Angeles. The fight should be officially announced in the near future.

The boxers were supposed to cross gloves last July, but Garcia pulled out due to health issues. The American wanted to meet Isaac Cruz in the next fight, but the Mexican was not interested in such a confrontation.

Former world featherweight champion Fortuna fought his last fight in February. Garcia returned to the ring in April after more than a year's break and won unanimously on points against Emmanuel Tagoe.
