Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) claims that in revenge against Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs), fans will see a completely different version of him than in the lost match in September last year.

“Then I tuned in to the fact that I would need twelve rounds. It was my plan because I thought I could compete with him in boxing,” AJ admitted in an interview with The Sun. “I think he won two more rounds than me, and thus became the champion.”

“Now my goal is to get back to basics and win by knockout. Usually when I fight, I can see my opponents lose heart. I look into their eyes, look at their movements and see how they are gradually lost. On the other hand, when you want to box with an opponent, the challenge is to throw punches and not get punched yourself, so that you sort of run away from the opponent. This is not my style. I have to be close to my opponent and put pressure on him. And that will be my plan!” Joshua promised.

Joshua's rematch with Usyk will take place on July 23 in Saudi Arabia. The official announcement of the fight is expected within a few days.
