Cejudo: Ian looked like a turtle on his back against Sterling

Former UFC champion in two weight divisions Henry Cejudo shared his impressions of the duel between Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling at UFC 273.

Recall that the American won a split decision and defended the belt in the bantamweight division.

“Even though I trolled Aljamain a lot, he deserved to win and I'm happy for him. I am glad to see all the shortcomings of Petr Yan that I spoke about. It is easy to transfer to the ground and control. Everyone looks great on their feet, but as soon as you take them to the floor, you turn on the elbows and knees.

In other words, Petr Yan looked like a potato. He looked like a turtle on his back, like a potato on his back. He couldn't get up, he couldn't move," Cejudo said on the Triple C & Schmo Show podcast.
