Frank Warren claims that Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) is looking forward to the fight for the WBC heavyweight belt against Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs), scheduled for April 23 in London.
“He wants to shine in front of a record crowd, and I think he will,” said the promoter of the King of the Gypsies, whose performance will be seen live by 94,000 fans.
“This country has never seen the likes of Tyson. He returns from an epic trilogy with the strongest fighter of all time and returns with a shield. He will be motivated to put on a show, to give a fight that none of his fans will ever forget," added Warren.
For Tyson Fury, the fight with Dillian Whyte will be the first in his homeland in almost four years. Fury last fought in the UK in August 2018, defeating Francesco Pianeta.
