Amosov took part in the liberation of Irpen

Undefeated Bellator welterweight champion Ukrainian Yaroslav Amosov took part in the liberation of his native Irpen from Russian invaders. This was announced by the mayor of the city of Irpin Alexander Markushin.

“Yaroslav is not only a world-famous resident of Irpen and a first-class martial artist, but also a great patriot of his country and a person who can be relied upon in any situation. It is an honor for me today to stand side by side with Yaroslav in the fight against the Moscow invaders. We will not give up our city! And we will not give up Ukraine!” Markushin wrote in Telegram.

After the start of the war, Amosov took his family out of Ukraine, and then returned to defend the country from Russian invaders.
