Burns gave a bold prediction for his fight with Chimaev

Former UFC welterweight title contender Gilbert Burns expressed confidence that he would be able to win an early victory over Khamzat Chimaev.

“Chimaev is very good, but I think that he has not yet met with opponents of my level. The ideal scenario for me is I go out and knock him out. I believe that the fight will not reach the decision of the judges. I don’t know if it will be a submission or a knockout, but I will finish it in the second or third round, ”said the Brazilian in an interview with TMZ.

The Burns-Chimaev fight will take place on April 9 at UFC 273 in Jacksonville.
