Former World Light Heavyweight Champion Alexander Gvozdyk appealed to foreigners who want to help Ukrainians who have suffered from Russian troops.

“My dear American comrades, the boxing community and people around the world. As a result of the war in my country, there is a threat to a large number of families. No one knows when all this madness will end, but what I do know for sure is that Ukrainian families need help right now.

“There are many families who have to spend time in basements and shelters. Among them are many young children and people with disabilities who are not provided with basic necessities and medicines. I started fundraising. I want to join my friends in Europe and people from the Red Cross in helping them organize humanitarian aid for Ukrainians," Gvozdyk said on his Instagram.
