Andrede-Parker fight set for February 25

Promotional bidding to determine the organizer of the fight for the interim WBO super middleweight title between Demetrius Andreyd (31-0, 19 KOs) and Zach Parker (22-0, 16 KOs) are scheduled for February 25 at the Organization's headquarters in San Juan.

The minimum amount that can be contributed to the tender is $300,000. Andrejd and Parker are promoted by rivals Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren, respectively.

The full champion of the World Boxing Organization at 76 kilograms is Saul Alvarez.

Andreyd continues to hold the middleweight championship belt. The WBO has also already nominated two opponents to fight for the 72.5kg interim title.

The Englishman Parker has been the mandatory challenger for the WBO super middleweight title since knocking out Rohan Murdoch in the eleventh round in March 2020. Three victories followed in his active 2021 campaign, including a stoppage over Marcus Morrison on November 6 in Birmingham, England.
