Eddie Hearn confirmed that Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) received a contract to fight with Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs). The head of Matchroom Boxing said that for some time he was not associated with White by any official contract, but helps him with the formalities associated with the contract to fight for the WBC heavyweight title.
“Dillian’s lawyers are reviewing the contract, but I don’t see any significant problems in it. I lost the tender, so I have nothing to do with this fight," Hearn said. “Dillian is my friend, we make agreements from fight to fight. I talk to his team every day, so if they want me to help them in some way, then of course I will help.
The Fury-White fight will be held in the UK in a paid broadcast. In the United States, the evening will be broadcast on ESPN.
