Frank Warren announced that the final details of the organization of the fight for the WBC heavyweight title between Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) and Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs). The fight should take place on April 23 in London or Cardiff.
“We are in contact with White's lawyers and have no doubt that contracts will be signed in the near future. We are already preparing an agreement, and we do not see any problems. We will announce the date and location of the fight soon,” Warren said.
“I don’t understand why the media is talking so much about this fight with Eddie Hearn, who claims that Fury will not agree to it. He lost the tender and this is no longer his concern, ”added the British promoter.
By the end of the week, Warren should officially inform the World Boxing Council of the details of the fight. According to British media, the White-Fury fight will eventually take place at Wembley Stadium.
