Joshua: I will beat Usyk even without a coach

Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) makes very motivated statements ahead of the rematch with Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs). At least according to his promoter, Eddie Hearn.

“The fight will take place in May and nothing more is known at the moment. AJ really wants this rematch, and when I spoke to him last Monday about the negotiations between Usyk and Fury, which are already completed, he told me: "I will beat Usyk." Then I told him that he didn’t even have a new coach yet, and he told me: “I will beat him in a rematch even without a coach.” He is very interested in this rematch,” said the head of Matchroom Boxing.

"AJ wants and will get this rematch and I'm going to organize it in the UK in May," Hearn added.

Recall that at the end of September, Usyk defeated Joshua and took away his IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight belts.
