The World Boxing Council (WBC) has announced the fourth change in the date of the tender for organizing a fight for the world heavyweight champion belt between Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) and Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs). The postponement was requested by both parties involved in the negotiation process, which has been going on for three months.

According to columnist Dan Rafael, the new date for the promotion auction is Friday, January 28th. Apparently, Friday should be the "last" date.

“The World Boxing Council has again received requests from Team Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte to extend the free negotiation period,” Mauricio Sulaiman, longtime WBC president, said Wednesday morning. "The WBC has granted them a definitive extension, and if an agreement is not reached, there will be a promotional call for proposals this coming Friday, January 28th."
